Conamara Sea Week
Conamara Sea Week is a multi-disciplinary festival, celebrating the wonderful marine heritage of Connemara. Highlights include music workshops, art exhibitions, concerts, talks, walks, children’s activities, sports events, lots of great music and buckets of fun for all the family A special highlight of the festival for the last few years has been the wonderful ‘After the Light’ parade, a spectacular night full of myth, magic, madness and mayhem! Dún Laoghaire Harbour Bicentenary
This festival will celebrate two hundred years of Dún Laoghaire harbour with history talks, contemporary art exhibitions, and even a live recording of the RTÉ Sunday Miscellany boasting stories, songs, and spoken word. Visit from now until the 31st October. Find out more here >

 

Féile Samhain at Hook Lighthouse
Experience a traditional Samhain Festival this Halloween at the 800-year-old Hook Lighthouse, the oldest working lighthouse in the world. From October 28th to 31st Féile Samhain takes over Hook, kicking off with an atmospheric guided Sunset Tour Experience. After being guided through the historic lighthouse – with plenty of tales of horror from the Hook Peninsula thrown in for good measure – tuck into Prosecco and canapes as the sun sets across the sea. Macnas Parade
The largest, free event in the West of Ireland returns for another year of dazzling displays and colourful performances. Experience the famous Macnas giants appearing among hundreds of other performers Galway’s city streets are transformed on Sunday the 29th October. Discover more here >

Guinness Series 2017: Ireland v South Africa
